East Wickham Primary Academy

East Wickham Primary Academy is a three-form entry school for 3-11 years old with over 600 pupils based in Welling, Kent. 

We have over 600 children in the main school divided in to 21 classes, with the Nursery classes taking 26 children in both the morning and afternoon. We have separate buildings for KS1 and KS2 and extensive grounds which we use for sports, forest school and to develop outdoor learning.

Our staff plan and work together in year groups and phases and we pride ourselves on our commitment to reducing teacher workload, whilst encouraging collaborative learning for all.

East Wickham is a large, successful Primary Academy, with a warm, caring atmosphere, situated close to the local main line station and a number of regular bus routes.  We cover the whole of the primary and foundation stage curriculum, and offer a wide range of enrichment activities. Our philosophy of “Caring, Supporting, Achieving” runs throughout the school and we encourage a growth mindset for both pupils and staff.
