Chichester High School

Back

At CHS we are a close and supportive community, working hard to ensure all our students excel.

Our aim is that Chichester High School provides all pupils with a rich and dynamic curriculum to enjoy in a safe environment.

Our aim is that:

All pupils ENJOY high quality, inspirational and innovative teaching and learning

ALL pupils EXCEL in ways they did not think possible

ALL pupils ENDEAVOUR to be excellent 21st Century Global Citizens

All members of our community Enjoy, Endeavour and Excel

During their 7 years with us we will ensure each individual exceeds their expectations and is fully prepared to excel in their future.

We aim to prepare every individual thoroughly so that they can take their place as a responsible global citizen in our modern world. We want to nurture exemplary ‘citizens of our world’ who will leave Chichester High School as well-rounded individuals with high self-esteem and the courage to grab hold of opportunities and try new things. Young people who seek to do something for others. We want to encourage the type of behaviour that is considerate and responsible, caring about others and caring for the planet and making the world a better and more just place.

Encouraging our students to be confident, caring and capable of taking on life’s challenges is at the heart of what we do.  We set high standards and nurture our students so that they are able to meet and exceed our and their own expectations.

Our values underpin all we do:

  • Respect for each other and for learning
  • Equality of opportunity and experience for all
  • A Community that supports and nurtures all its members
  • Achievement for all

It is both a pleasure and a privilege to be the Headteacher of Chichester High School and our recent GOOD OfSTED report and OUTSTANDING Sixth Form, reflects the journey our school has been on. There is much more to achieve here at CHS and it is my job, along with my highly capable staff, to ensure all our pupils have the very best experience and leave with the outcomes they deserve.
